In the spirit of Christmas

Synopsis:

“The Whitfield siblings come home to their mother Shirley after four years to celebrate Christmas with her and pretend to not know the secret surrounding her marital status and a boyfriend”. This movie was released in 2007 and can be found on YouTube. I love this movie more for the fact that it’s about bringing the family together even though there are so much secrets and drama to heal from. Got to love Loretta Devine and Regina King for always being strong and the voice of reason in this movie, there is always one sibling that is similar to each character.

Do check it out and fall in love with the Whitfield family.

“Walter invites his four dysfunctional children home for Christmas a year after their mother’s death and hopes they can set aside their problems for a nice, traditional holiday.” I love this movie because one of my favourite actresses (Mo’nique) is the best comedic  that you need, I’m talking the funniest character in the movie. The other female leads (Gabrielle Union, Kimberley Elise and Nicole Ari Parker)were  really good but definitely showed how the sister bond can be tested then amended at times.

The story is relatable to anyone who has been in their situation before. This movie can be found on YouTube. Have a watch and laugh out loud.

“When college friends reunite after 15 years over the Christmas holidays, they find out just how easy it is for long-forgotten enmities and romances to be rekindled”. What can I say about this movie apart from me crying non stop when this movie first came out in cinema. I love how we see the continuation of life after the first ‘Best man’ movie it was definitely a great watch. Regina Hall is totally my favourite actress in this movie because she knows when to throw them hands and when to walk away.

SYNOPSIS:

“When a widowed radio DJ is fired, he and his four spoiled children must leave their lives of luxury behind and move in with his aunt just before Christmas”. I absolutely found the spirit of Christmas watching this movie I also found more tears. The love for the kids and the community is amazing and very inspiring. This movie is on Netflix.

SYNOPSIS

“A photographer discovers that the antique Advent calendar she inherited seems to predict her future, including a budding romance”. This movie is on my list because I have yet to watch this but the trailer looked really good and gave me magic and love, who doesn’t want that in life. I’m excited and intrigued to watch it, I  also enjoy watching certain pieces from Kat Graham.
