The year to excel = 2021

Let me start off by saying Happy New Year lovelies!  I hope you kicked off your year with love and positivity and now looking forward to excelling in 2021.

That being said, let’s address the worst year of my life. So, we all know that 2020 was the year of horror, madness and mental lows with every event that took place. However, on the upside, it did teach me it become more fearless and go for what I want.  In previous year, I’ve suffered from imposter syndrome, where I have constantly doubted and stopped myself from going for a job, where I presumed, I was too inexperienced to do the job, or to start a business, which I imagined would go bust within the first months. You could imagine that this has affected my progression in life as the endless psychological ‘impostor’ warfare continued to dictate all areas of my mine.

Yet, in mid-2020 I started to ‘not give a f*ck*’ and do all the things I wanted to do. If 2020 taught us anything, is to expect the unexpected and do whatever make you happy, because nothing is promised. We saw our freedom restricted, universal uniforms created (masks) and the birth of worldwide propaganda for the vaccine. This is our new normal, unfortunately. Yet, since we know now what to semi expect, from the rules and restrictions from 2020, we can now plan this year around government guidelines and start doing what you’ve always wanted to do.

 I say this, because 2021 is the age of Aquarius, meaning it’s the age of truth, which will form more conflict and crisis, and instead of crumbling under the new astrological change, I urge you to do more things that fulfil your soul and makes you smile, while pushing past your comfortabilities.


Here’s a few tips to get you started on your 2021 journey:

Do new things

Compile a list of all things you ever wished to do, from smallest tasks like meditating daily to larger personal missions like going on Insta Live.

Slowly work your way from the smallest to the largest either daily, weekly or monthly, whatever suits you. Tick off those completed.

Heal from within

This is a method near and dear to me, as I feel is the most important. Find what grounds, centres and heals your soul. Yoga, meditation or therapy can help facilitate this healing as it can expose all trauma you have chosen to hide in the depts of your being, both conscience and subconsciously. It opens space for growth and healing.

Try to live without fear

 As covid-19 cases rise, and threats of the job and economical markets crashes, anxiety begins to rise and fear and obsession begins to take over. Our thoughts are invaded with negativity, and our behaviour is in survival mode. Whenever, this happens, you should stop and close your eyes, take 5 deep breathes to calm your breaths, thoughts down while elevating your mood. I feel like I’m going to do this throughout the year.

As millennials, we’ve survived one of the worst years in our history, I’m sure we’ll survive more. With these tips and your choice of not giving a f*ck, so you can just concentrate on  you and yours! You may not even pay attention to all the foolishness that may happen.
